Overview:
A remake of Overlord H.
You are spending the final minutes in your favorite DMMO-RPG, YGGDRASIL before it shuts down for good at midnight.
However, when the time comes, nothing apparently happens.
Unable to log out, you are stuck in a world that looks similar to the game yet so much more realistic, especially the NPCs that begin to behave consciously...

Overlord H+ will be a complete remake, keeping the same soul of the old game, but with a completely different look and new/improved features, including native android support.

For the first time ever since I started developing games, I've decided to try a different style for this project: Rather than having maps and characters as separate sprites, this game will have many renders accompanying the dialogue, which is a way more common (At least here in the west).
Just like in the old game, I'm trying new stuff (Fun fact: Overlord H also started as a side game).

I enjoyed the original game, even with the bad UI, the wasted characters, and the fake harem. I say "fake" because you couldn't get all the women or all their scenes in a single playthrough. Let's see if the dev keeps his promise and makes it a real harem game this time. The only "problem" I have with this new version is that it looks like the dev will still waste many characters because they have other love interests, so he doesn't want us to be able to fuck them, only in a separate game where we'll be playing as their canon love interest. But let's see how this goes.

As far as I understood the dev on Discord back then, the reason for this remake is that he switched to Unity out of frustration, Ren'Py had ruined his assets due to incorrect compression, and he’s using IL2CPP because he doesn't want people modding his game...

First time I've heard about a dev having a hard time with Ren'Py and switching to Unity, a much less friendly engine for visual novels, especially when the big difference is that almost anyone can use Ren'Py because you don't need to know how to code to make a game, whereas with Unity, you do. And not wanting people to mod the game? That's weird. It kind of sounds like those devs who use anti-cheat in single-player porn games, which makes no sense and is completely unnecessary.

I expressed myself the wrong way. What I meant is that you don't really need to know programming to make a game with Ren'Py like you do with Unity, Unreal, or other engines. Python is much easier for beginners to learn just by following tutorials, and a lot of people have made games with nothing more than that. That said, it's true that knowing Python is still the best option because it lets you take full advantage of everything Ren'Py has to offer.
