There are 2 games that Originally came out in 2016 that recently updated with a MASSIVE amount of content removed (And one Aged up to everyone being 18+) Are you guys intrested in these kind of things. If a game came back with the same artist or there was more to do/finish I'd be all for it but reseting a game that's close to a decade old back to the beginning seems a little tiresome. I'm really just mad to see all the loli characters in Urban Demons go away kind of like zombie's retreat aged the MC way up and he hasn't saved any little girls to offset all the milfs in the game. (FYI the other game thats updated is Summertime Saga where 90+% of the content is now no longer in the game).

What they did with Summertime Saga will “please” many, and perhaps all fans of this project. This is such an exquisite mockery of people who have been patiently waiting 2 years and 5 months for this very “technical” update. But as a businessman, the developer is a genius. You can milk your fans for another 8 years quietly, providing himself a good income:)
UPD:
But in general, I believe the dead will remain dead and nothing will resurrect them. In my mind, projects that have been dragging on since 2016-18 are more dead than alive - if a developer over the years has never come up with a finished story that completes not only the main plot, but also the side subplots, it speaks to his complete writerly impotence. Besides, technical progress doesn't stand still and now renders created in 2018 are already very cutting to the eye. Especially in full screen mode on a UHD monitor. Re-rendering will only prolong the agony of the project without adding anything to the story.
So my personal opinion - the place for these projects is on the junkyard of history.

Not even a little bit.

I have no actual numbers of which comebacks / upgrades / continuations are “legit” and which are milking. But there are more than enough current alternatives that have good track records and content even if those tags are missing. The current games are the ones that I suggest you give time and/or money to. I'm not going to take time to chase a tag when it's all about entertainment for me. That's too much like work.

Now, if those comebacks, etc... are about tags you exclusively enjoy:
-it’s up to you whether you want to take the risk to sub and/or develop them yourselves.

I personally will wait till the tags are either back to "normal" and play them... or gone forever and I focus on what's left.

I mean its always nice to see your fav game to come back alive... But then most of the times it goes straight to shit. This does break my heart a bit every time. I am believer nonetheless and i believe that once the return from the dead will be good :D

Wow, you really do put faith on the developers, from my point of view is very hard to give a chance right away, but if the project seems to really took of maybe I can.

Id love it if urban demons was remade to be less buggy and updated art 😁

With Urban Demons I didn't really play it for that content so I don't really mind it, I like the new art we got from the demo some I'm hopeful about it. Really just depends on how long it will take and if the changes to the writing/story is good.
