Because im forced to be social, you may help me with a decsision or at least share your thoughts about...
I am up to get some apple stocks. Maybe 10 or 20... not a huge amount but yea...
I shouldn't be emotional in such cases but i realy like their products.
They dropped recently so it could be a good timing.

what do you think?

From what you've said, you should buy. If you like a company there's probably a reason and that tends to be a decent way to invest. At the very least, it works for Shaq. He owns part of all the companies he does commercials for (Papa John's, Gold Bonds, etc) and he bought stocks in those companies because he liked them personally. Buying at a low point is also the best way to get into the market since there's usually a recovery period that almost guarantees profits unless you invest in something going bankrupt.

Personally, I wouldn't do it. I strongly dislike Apple. Their prices are probably down because of the anti-trust lawsuit the government recently brought against them, which means they could drop a lot more based on how the case goes. And I wouldn't want to drop that much money on stocks for a single company. It's probably a better bet to invest it in the S&P 500. But my standards aren't the same as yours so I wouldn't say it's an outright bad investment.

IMO, we're in a bubble with AI right now, but eventually, people are going to realize it can't do everything that it's being hyped up to be. Not to shit on what companies like OpenAI have achieved, but LLMs have fundamental limitations in the types of tasks they're good for, and I don't think most investors are really aware of that.

Invest if you want, but my advice is just to be ready for that bubble to pop.

thanks for your replies so far,

yes the most reasonable way would be to put it all in the spx.

I dont see apple as part of the ai bubble atm but the price may be still to high for a no brainer invest.
