Yes, I prefer to play the games in English too, because honestly, most translations are a load of crap, aren't they?
And no, I've never translated a game before, but I still think I can do better. Put me to the test if you want...

I would volunteer as well. The story could improve with German language. But it is the opposite for lewd scenes. That´s why I prefer to play in English as well.
But if someone would like to make an offer for the people not able to speak English, I would like to help. Many game developers use Google or something similar for translation with a horrible result.

Maybe German language porn videos are the reason why German language works so bad for lewd scenes.

This is not the language itself, but in the themes here,
man is seldom told the translations of the lewd words in school
But this applies to any foreign language.
I don't volunteer (because of lacking time), but I would do the proofreading of German texts.
