With newer, more powerful devices coupled with the emergence of AI, how far do you think adult VN games can go? Most developers are either solo or have a small crew of people working on their games, could we see longer update times but with much higher res models with fluid animations? How much can they add to the games using technologies that will come out in the next 5 - 10 years.

I don't know about the quality of the games, but is most likely the games will be easier to make, that is, we will either have more games or bigger and more frequent updates.

Honestly I think we've hit a bit of a stagnation in terms of VN quality, there is only so much quality small devs can put into these things, and we've got some diminishing returns. And I really dont believe AI will change the VN scene (or maybe i just hope it doesn't)
