they are correct, the Nepali's calendar it's 56 years and 8 months ahead of the English calendar

Yep i hope sense there a democracy it will not make other certain places look to this as a idea.

I know nothing about Nepal, but the banning of social media and that weird ass calendar makes me glad I don't live there.

Nepal is currently in a not very fun place. Both China and India want their land and are activly taking it away, without Nepal being able to do anything about it.

That is one hell of a calendar. With that and the new censorship, it feels like they're trying to cut off their populace from the outside.

I was reading an article yesterday about what's happening in Nepal. After the social media ban the young people protested all across the country. 19 people were killed and many others injured during the riots that ensued and the government response that followed. The next day the government repealed the bans. Things got ugly over there quickly. Seems to have called down for now.
