Eh I think it'll just be like photoshop in the future. People will just get the same skepticism towards vudeos that they have now towards photos

Photoshop took talent to make a good forgery and that was just a image.

With this you could do real damage make a singer sing another singer's song cause a online fight.

Or be a scumbag take a image of a real public works worker post his "video" say there is going to be a attack of some kind panic first and the cops etc.


If everything is suspect then how can one see truth to which justice can be achieved.

I think you're right, and I think it's a good thing. People take what they see online too seriously anyway imo. The less truth there is on social medias, the less validity and importance they have, and I dunno I kind if like that. You are right that it could definitely used to damage a few reputations especially in the early stages!

Thats cool. I'm sure Microsoft will use it for their bad intentions. If it was another offline deal I would like it but I don't trust these online and especially Microsoft AI deals. Sorry to be pooper here but it is very vey cool idea but the misuse is risky. I personally try to avoid Microsoft product if I can. If it was offline and by other company then sure, its super great idea.

yep not surprise me. Honestly, I have huge problem against the online and huge companies such as Microsoft. they spy on us all and not just this. AI online is a huge risk. I will =never share my face pics online. Not even for this kind of thing. It is scary that a total stranger/scammer can take your own face pic if you give it, then make a fake AI video of it. it look like you, talk like you (in some cae where voice mod is there) and they can do a bunch of evil. especially with celebrities' ect.. Its a risk, but for fun home make silly stuff it is harmless. Sadly, something so wonderful and cool is much to open for abuse by freaks and weirdos with false agenda, and who try to scam innocent people with their lies. Honestly, online AI programs??? mmmm... No thanks. There needs be some control or some protection against abuse of AI programs.

100% agree but when you look at those enforcing those laws they only "shutdown" tictok not because of all the deaths from those dare videos or do too all the scam crap nope they shut them down because china bad now. Oh china massacred the people of hong kong to enforce there rule after uk left who cares 5 years later china owns a vid hosting company my kid watches videos on now that is real shit call up everyone shutdown that site.

No doubt 98% of law makers have 0 clue about all of the tech of the last 10 years or more.

On internet there are now laws or regulations from any government. This why scammers, hackers and also media platform like TickTock, Google, and all others, can literally do what they want. They obsess to close down small loli sits that do no harm and other smaller sites to manipulate and monopolies internet. No one country is guilty. All are guilty. It is just greedy companies who will 100% used these AI fake images/videos to cause people to divide. Sadly, this won't go away, which is why all this fantastic AI programs will be used by criminals and why I think it is not safe. Poor old granny and grampa will always become victim of scammers, especially when AI gets so realistic it will be hard to tell anything from real.
