I've never gotten malware from any of the games. Some of the less reputable file hosting sites might do that thing where there's a fake download link that's more prominent than the real one, and that might get you some malware. Stick to Mega and GoFile for your downloads since they don't have that problem and you'll be fine.

Most warnings you get from some of the games are false positives.
Especially if some of the Unreal, Unity or even a few Renpy games have there callback feature enabled. Some AV's will trigger off that.

Not malware from actual games, but some links have plenty of them. Keep you antivirus working to avoid issues.

I have had false positives reported from my own game, but I think for the most part you are safe. I know I don't need to but I scan my own game before I upload it to a file hosting site.

If you are ever worried just scan the game to be safe.

Like others said the games themselves in low but the sites can have alot of popups/scripts and or just mis direct links.

As someone that used to fix pc's the main source of malware is social media more than porn sites heck alot of porn sites have equal too or better than sql/bit security/moderators than bank's/facebook/toc toc etc.

You should always protect yourself online as if you were going to have a orgy in a African whore house.

Na its out there just fire up a base win install 0 3rd party installs use only edge and then click on popups

Yeah I haven't had problems myself yet, but nothing is completely safe on the internet
