If you could make your own game. What would it be? The tags, story, characters?

incest (mom, sisters, aunts, cousins) with exploration of a world where choices matter. With various taboos. Long animations, a lot of dirt talk so that one sex scene lasts at least 15 minutes. Unfortunately, such a game will never be created

if? there is software available to make everything you need with almost no experience nowadays. back in the day you had to make what you wanted which by the time you finished making something usually your mood had changed(flash was a epic win compared to having to write a engine from scratch in basic, learning photoshop, and having enough energy to make something even as short as 5 mins)

hypothetical game
tags: incest, corruption ,male protagonist, harem, ntr(optional),rape
characters: mom, older sister, twin sister, younger sister, childhood friend, aunt, cousin, neighbor, neighbor's daughter, and a few other fill in characters that likely won't have much lewd content as having one li character in a game i find gets overshadowed, especially since everyone has specific models that attract them. problem is when someone has the exact opposite problem of 20+ characters where we have to slog through the content we're not interested in just to progress with the couple characters we're into. another issue is on the dev's end, the more characters the more time required to make a meaningful update(most devs working on huge games try to focus on only a few characters at a time)

story premise: our protagonist got sent off to juvenile hall when his twin sister made a false claim against him because she wanted a room to herself. upon getting involved with the wrong group the protagonist gets involved in a plot to expose the corruption in the school. when the plot goes wrong(and your co-conspirators turn on you) the headmaster at the school decides to send our hero home(doesn't want you to dig into his dealings anymore) and makes a agreement with him, he'll help you in turn you keep out of his business. when the protagonist return home the only thing you can think of is revenge but you know you have to maintain a low profile. problem is you are stuck in the basement and only allowed to leave for work, food, and school. you must build up your skills and knowledge to escape the basement and become master of the house. but how will you achieve this when your twin sister and mother's boyfriend have other plans for you.

gameplay/dev cycle: it would be a vn(probably use renpy for engine and would probably have to expieriment with what looks the best for prototypes between daz, honey, and koikatsu) that has small grind to first get out of the basement then to slowly work on corrupting people to your side until you can enact revenge. it would focus on the immediate household members and expand outside people until a good balance of quality and quantity are reached. any ntr content(what peeps basically are calling that. ) would be avoidable

jobs: i would obviously have to start on my own and be a jack of all trades(decent at coding, editing in photoshop, and designing road maps. awful in creating original artwork, sounds, and using programs like hs, daz, etc ). but as development goes on having extra hands on board would allow for more to be done. this would be where it progresses from hobby passion project to work. a team of a half dozen skilled individual would be plenty for a project of this size to be 100% fleshed out in a short span of 1-2 years instead of who knows when if i get bored with it(others working on a project with you tends to help stave the boredom)

coder-having a extra coder would speed up development and help make the game less buggy
artist- having a artist or two would help generate original artwork and allow development to proceed smoothly. this also allows the game to develop in a better direction
sound tech- this allows for original background music that everyone hasn't heard a gazillion times and possible voiced content in the future

i have dozens of ideas but my lack of energy after irl job makes it a challenge to move forward with them.

Nice. Let ChatGPT or better an uncensored local LLM work out the details in the story, chapter by chapter. Then you need an artist, this could be difficult, expensive or both. And then someone to put this into RenPy - although I'd let an AI work on that as well - and off you go.

I think original stories are the most crucial part of a lewd game, else it would drown in the sea of mediocre games already existing. Finding these gems is hard enough, and if I had any talent I'd love to write my own stories / games

im a programmer, i have a lot of experience in Python, so i can use ren'py pretty decently, if there is anyone who knows DAZ/the modelling stuff, we can unironically make a game together, anyone interested?

Am I asking too much? :D one scene = one fap. Most games have such short scenes that you have to play through the whole thing and there is no guarantee that there will even be one fap :(

Because one long scene can take months to be made, or more if you have bad hardware like me, for me creating a scene and then rendering takes literally hours to days for a few seconds, yes, you can create long scenes if you don't mind glitches and quality, like a character's arm poking through another or using a different software like VAM, which I personally don't like, but still you will need at least a couple weeks to just make a 2 minute scene.
It would be achieveable one day when AI matures enough to create a full video series with the same characters with only one prompt, but right now you cant, characters change a lot on each try.

Honestly I agree with this somewhat. Some games blue ball you a little too much lol. I think the key is where some games have tasteful teasing leading up to a main event. VNs where they immediately reward you with sex without any effort is a turnoff

You know, I don't mean that the animation has to be long, because I realize that it requires a lot of time to render. But all you need to do during the animation is a lot of dirt talk, not just one line of text, and that's it. That's what I meant more. If I wanted only animation, I could turn on normal porn :D

I don't like it either, what fun is it when everything happens at the speed of a porn movie, VNs are there to build relationships and tension between characters. I understand that some girls are easier than others and I have no problem with that, but what's it like when each of them wants to have sex with you 5 minutes after meeting you or as soon as they see your magical dick? :(

That's quite difficult too, specially when english isn't your native language, for example, I put more than one line of dirty talk in every scene on my game and still you can rush through all of it in just 10 seconds. best way to achieve what you are asking for would be by hardcoding wait times at specific points in the scene to force players to wait until the next sentence, but that would make some players angry, even in live action porn you only get 2 or 3 lines that get repeated countless times, I get your point tho, but still pretty difficult to implement.
The best and easiest way to stretch a scene is to make multiple viewing angles of it then go through all of them after a specific ammount of time with repeated dirty dialog on them, I don't do that on my game because as I stated earlier working with low end hardware takes days to render one simple scene if I do multiple viewing angles that would become weeks.

one line of text is not enough for me and that's what I'm talking about. This pisses me off the most. You know, if the player wants to skip the text, that's his problem, but if the player wants to read, there's nothing? My written English is also not good, but when I play such games, I want to fix the games under this account to have more text. And for me it's not a problem, I can easily come up with 5-10 lines of text for each animation without any thinking. And if I tried, I would write the entire conversation, but that would probably piss off those who don't like reading :ROFLMAO: They can always skip
You're right, making players wait is a very bad idea as well. I don't know if you've ever played a Japanese VN and there's often a billion texts attached to one picture:D

I'm a dark path/corruption enjoyer so I would love a game where you get to be an agent and work your way up through Hollywood and corrupt the girls that come to you. Ask them just how bad they want to be famous and what they are willing to do to get there.

That's a fantastic idea yu should do it, if you had never used renpy or daz don't be affraid it's quite easy, and you cna find a lot of help online
I suggest you to write down everything you have right now, that way you don't start the story from zero when you decide to implement your idea.
I'm working in one game at the moment, but I already have story drafts for three more games, a space sci-fi sex-opera, a witch game in modern era and a time traveling incest fueled story, I even have a couple characters done for a few of those games.
