I played ERA(all translated games), Strive for Power, Free Cities, LR2, COM3D2, Koikatsu

edit: also played, Masters of Raana, Lilith's tower, Portals of Phereon

I kept up with most of the well known sandbox/management games but there might be some lesser known ones I missed. I'm generally looking for a lot of community support and content since that usually makes the games worth playing.

You played Masters of Raana?
Yes, its been about a year so I don't remember it too well, I loaded up an old save and saw that I only had one follower with barely any interactions. I think the game was a bit slow and harder to figure out compared to the other ones I listed, does it get better?

It definitely moves slower than Strive. You'll likely spend a little while living pretty hand to mouth. But once you get a good gameplay rhythm going things pick up; you start making way more money, improve your stats and gear, build a powerful team of followers and large household, and really start getting into the major questlines. It's very rewarding once you do, in my opinion much moreso than Strive.

I will say one thing that improved the early game immensely for me was realizing I could attack low-level thugs, capture a couple with the cane weapon, and make good cash by auctioning them off. Mitigates a lot of early-game poverty.

I really enjoy MoR, I usually replay it every other major update. I like that the dev is very active with the game. Another decent sandbox game I came to like was strip club wars. Bit of a learning curve on that one, but once you get the hang of it, its a fun play.
