I really like both but only if they have custom animations. What do you think about them?

HS. The anime style really does not do it for me.

I would say it depends on the job, it's not a style that says it's horrible or I love it, it depends on each game. It's like digital animation in movies, sometimes it's good and sometimes it's bad.

hell nah, anything but Koikatsu.

Neither. I hate Japanese graphics, I hate HS with their deadpan faces capable of expressing 3-4 emotions but nothing more.
It's just that these graphics offend my notions of beauty and sense of beauty.

Honey Select 2 looks much better to me.
I'm not a fan of the Koikatsu style.

Yep, totally agree

HS/HS2 is fine, anime-style but kinda more... adult? Dunno, Koikatsu is too much children-show-optics for me, not sure how to explain it, but not a fan of it. I follow exactly one Koikatsu game, because its a cool premise and all, but it being Koikatsu really draws my rating of it down, would be much better if it was HS... :x

HS is a reasonable way to create a game in a relatively easy manner. Compared to Daz it's easier and also lighter on your PC.
It's not great but if the story is good enough I am willing to overlook it.

Koikatsu is in a way similar but what bothers me is that it is very difficult to distinguish characters. Often, all end up looking the same. Which is really annoying.

I prefer HS2 over Koikatsu because it just feels more "right" to me.

On average, Koikatsu. However, there are some games that make HS2 look phenomenal. Eternum being the best example.

I like variety, however koikatsu I find has less room for failure on rendering models. Well done hs2 is quite abit better overall.

HS2, Koikatsu is hit and miss for me, but HS2 always turns me on

HS2! Koikatsu, was okay at first now it's usually a skip. HS2 just looks so good

for me it doesn't matter what matters to me is the quality of the animations

HS2. Koikatsu is fine if some effort is put into it and isn't default animations.

HS2 can get into the uncanny valley for me, so I tend to prefer Koikatsu. But I don't prefer most people's koikatsu offerings. So most of the time it's neither, with some exceptions.

Bit late, but I really don't like the style of koikatsu, HS2 plays on my preferences, it looks real enough, but the characters still look unique. Unfortunately 98% of the games are either over/under lit and they simply look terrible, not to mention the wet dream of every eco-warrior with the amount of recycled animations.
