as KDE stopping his usual loli focused work and soon will be deleting everything everywhere before fully rebranding, this is last chance to grab his full collection
requesting to reupload it somewhere safe before it completely gone, his currently provided hosting is kinda trash, limits speed, doesn't allow download resume and who knows how long till it will be cleansed too
Code:

I managed to get a visual novel "Bad Tutor" on here. Still doing the rest but it'll take time.

This is the saddest news I've heard in a while. Really hope someone is able to get the archive and upload it to a new host, or possibly even let KDE know that the archive is inaccessible to most

So, I just heard about the thing down under, and started checking on what was going on. Saw several references to this site, and a reference to this thread, so created an account to drop in. I have about 95% of KDE's content, though not all the names match because he got them all in the same format somewhere between when I first downloaded his archive in 2021 and the last time I checked it earlier this year, and I've curated the variant videos to my taste. I'm working on downloading what's been posted into the archive since my last check, which I should be able to finish tomorrow. I'm not much of an uploader though, outside of trying to maintain a good ratio when I torrent stuff, so I'll accept any suggestions on how to send it to a host.

To some degree the wall o' text post feels disingenuous. I can't say I've ever followed an artist from the beginning, but I got pretty close with KDE, started following them in 2016, and I think they started in 2014, maybe 2013. Always hard to know on the internet. Overall they're going about this the right way, releasing their content for people to grab, not ghosting, and they're probably right about future viability and almost certainly right about personal impacts. I get most of their perspective. However, KDE didn't chance into the spicy field, they were doing rapey stuff and spicy stuff from nearly the beginning, even if it did go from part of what they made to nearly all of it. They mentioned wanting to get into visual novels; the Clementine and Sarah VN demos are from 2015. Their first storylined stuff like The Sleepover involved rape and spiciness. I found them for the more consensual things (the Sarah couch one may be the one that caught my attention), but they definitely made they bed they lay in and are now climbing out of, and I doubt there was no personal appeal or that they found it so distasteful when they started. I totally accept that they want to change focus and wish them well. It's been a decade! SDSMS also did a focus shift, and it's been great! I hope the skills they've build serve them well. Just... felt like I needed to clarify events to date.

hey guys, any progress on this one?
KDE mentioned on ATF what "Archive will be up for a bit longer, dunno will depend on how much it is going to cost me", but how long "a bit longer" will be - who knows

I still have the VNs and SOME of the animations. Internet got shit on me so I had to halt the progress on my end. Even the uploads are taking up to almost 15 hours and then failing.

I am amazed at how many people seem to think that my driving reasons were some newfound morality and ignore the majority of what I said. 90% of it is that it just isn't feasible as a job - the shit with the VN guy is going to probably shine a light on Substar, and that is the last bastion for this type of content, and will only survive until Mastercard decide they shouldn't. My point with the content was more "it is becoming harder to share in normal places, so instead it just ends up hard associated with the fringe, because all the normal sites have ostracized it".
Anyway, someone not me re-encoded and uploaded the files to h.265 - - go nuts. But if it dies like I say, not mince so cant help you there

the real archive is not properly compressed on a lot of files. This set is done to h.265 which is a lot smaller, but isnt really feasible for general releases cause some stuff still wont play them

Sorry if it feels like I joined what must be many entitled idiots dumping on you! I'm aware that you said there were many reasons, and I think every single one of them are valid. I also think it's valid to note that you've been in the spice market for many years, and even your more experimental and branching out content like the VNs is very spicy. If anything that reinforces your broader point, that you're pigeonholed into a critically endangered niche and want to move out of it.

The part I responded to was "It is not really my preferred content a lot of the time but I have no time to make any other type of content," which may not be fair to you, and is only a couple dozen words out of 2000. I mostly stand by what I said in response (though I never expected you to actually read it, it looks like we're both newcomers to the site!), but I understand that even without outside morality butting in, you'd prefer to do more varied content rather than being pigeonholed, I get that.

It's a curse of all creatives, becoming "the guy with the stretchy face" or "the metal head rocker." You didn't want to be "the guy that does longform spicy animations" even though you you enjoyed making it sometimes, but it made the money, so you had to keep making spicy bread every morning to the exclusion of all the other baked goods, to mix a metaphor. Pretty soon it might not make money though or even get banned, and you're friggin tired of spicy bread every day! I back you completely in moving on and wish you the best. I look forward to your banana nut muffins or whole wheat pita pockets or whatever.
