Is there a way to have games run like a movie.

Why not try kinetic ones those generally have no choices and just keep going

Isn't that what autoscroll does on ren'py or does that do something else?

max u can do is... put it on auto mode of specific time. and click choice when u get them.

Everything in the ren'py engine has an autoplay feature, I think you can even set the speed it plays through it for you

You should try out The Quarry then. It's a cinematic adventure game with branching paths that has a movie mode that allows you to dictate the outcome of the survivors

You can actually find playthroughs of many AVN's on YouTube. Or you used to anyway, I don't know if there's been a crackdown.

Japan has DVD Player Games but they still require selecting choices.
