Is it ok to image dump?

Well, as the tittle suggest, I was thinking on share parts of my image collections on the forums, but I though it would be better to ask beforehand. I've seen people posting standalone images on other threads. I've accumulated a lot of pictures over the years. Of course I understand they've to follow the rules and guidelines. But would an image thread will be ok as a form of content?
