discussion If you could...? Old game in a new engine.

So, I'm just a bit curious.
Is there a game any of you hold dear to your heart that is starting to feel out dated, and you would like updated to a new engine?
I.E. I really enjoyed Sisterly Lust, but it would really benefit from modeling in a newer system like DAZ. Or there was an old game I enjoyed called Brothel City, that I would love to be rebooted.

SimGirls but still in 2D. Lol. Made for Flash games. Guess the creator came back and made it in 3D but it looked like shit, to me. And too many bad parts in it.

Oh man, I didn't even think of old flash games. That would be a gold mine if someone could get those to work again.

When I get my PC back up and running again and I get other projects out of the way, I'm actually thinking about making a Ren'Py adaption for SimGirls. Been wanting to since last year. Lol.
There are also other Flash games that I think should be remade and added to Ren'Py, too.

NewGrounds is still there. Lol. They even have their own Flash support program to help with playing old Flash games, too. And yes, SimGirls is still in there last I checked.

There are a lot of old strategy games that i would really see modern remakes of. Back in the day not only the graphics were lacking but because of technical limitations there were usually some problems with pathing/ai and max units on the screen.

Most interesting would be a remake of Star Wars Empire at War and Warhammer 40k Dawn of War. These games have pretty active modding communities but those are limited by the technical basis.

Corruption, The Headmaster in a new, more realistic graphic style. But I think, it's not because of the engine.
Chloe-series would be cool in another engine.

Parental love, the story and writing are one of a kind, but it needs a graphical update, and the animations take a while to get through.

Metal Gear Solid 1. I always wanted a remake in line with the later games.
