how the fuck do you lock a porn folder on your computer?

so Microsoft basically removed the ability to password a folder on windows 10 because your account is already protected. the problem is that it's really not, physically anyone can access your computer. so I have a password when entering windows, but why can't I just bypass that by using safe mode and then removing the password? unless it can't be done (pretty sure it can and at most I just need to access my email) and let's say I encrypt a folder (properties allows this) it means that unless someone uses windows via my user, they will never be able to access that folder?

I often don't lock my computer (again, anyone can probably hack it like nothing, this isn't an iphone, pc's are super easy to hack if you have physical access) I would just prefer if no one finds the 75 mother milf daughter lesbian incest videos I have inside that folder. pretty sure it's not that bad tho, people probably have some really fucked up stuff saved on their computers XD

I know there is a script I can run that basically allows me to lock the folder by making it vanish and then show it again via the script exe by using a password. however it works on a single folder so if it has any more folders inside of it, it won't work as well. basically what I want is for anyone to try to open that folder and not be able to without a password, and that you can't just download a hacking app and gz folder is unlock after 5 minutes. I also don't want to zip/rar it with a password because then I can't keep using it without extracting it every single time. another problem is renpy games for example that show up as game saves inside user folder/appdata/roaming.

it is truly annoying how programs tend to spread all over the place instead of remaining in a single location.

I don't want to hide the folder, that would be too simple of solution and I happen to like everything unlocked and shown for faster access.

You could for example use VeraCrypt (free open source and really good) to set up a virtual encrypted disk that you could mount with a password every time you need it (the folder/folders will look as an additional hard disk in explorer).

Be aware though that every time you access/open anything you leave traces everywhere in the OS and the only way to secure against that is to do full disk encryption. (Be sure you understand what you do before doing that though - read everything before starting doing it).

so that's a no basically... wow it just blows my mind, how easy it was in windows 7 to just add a password to a folder, wtf were they thinking. there has to be a code or something to write a script that will allows this in windows 10.

again, this is not helpful. a password on a folder is the simplest shit ever, I just can't believe they removed this shit... there has to be a code programmer I could use.

i live alone but my single mother neighbor who lives in a fantasy world and thinks we're gonna get together one night, has a kid. now honestly i hate kids (maybe i will have one when im 50 who knows, no biological clock on my side) but she's poor so they dont have a good pc at home, the kid sometimes comes to use my computer to play fortnite or whatever (it started with "homework", no idea how it got to video games) i rather the kid doesn't find anything weird, i have 2 computers but my main one is for work so no one touches that one but me. the other one having a high end gpu on it, is for gaming and other stuff. some of that stuff is that folder i keep my milf videos. I dont want any negative content on my work pc . and i know what people are gonna think "why let the kid use the pc then". apparently im a nice person (fucking hate this about myself) so while i own the place and the single mother rants the next door, i need to keep living there because my other place is being rented. i simply make more money from that income then what i would get if someone lived where im currently. maybe once i buy a 3rd place i can move from this shit hole, and away from these weirdly overly nice people. but i never needed a big place to live in. this is the age a person should save as much money as possible, raise their income, improve anything they can.

No. If you have enough free space you can shrink the existing partition and create a new one in the unallocated space. You can do it in Windows itself - although third party apps also exist.
Right click This PC/ My Computer and click Manage. Select Disk management. Select your disk, then right click your existing partition and select shrink. Enter the new size and apply. Then right click the newly created unallocated space and create a new partition.

No, they can be hacked remotely, if the hacker knows your IP. My favourite hack which I was told details about is to overload your fonts rendering engine by making it load a gigantic font size (I'm guessing font sizes of 10,000 and higher), which would crash it and upon that crash some firewall ports that souldn't be open get opened and the hacker gets into your computer as easily as he gets into his own home. What's worse - that hack exists since 2006 and has never been touched by M$ to fix it.

I used to use a batch file back in the day that would have not stopped anyone if they just enabled hidden files on Windows. Now, I just use bitlocker, along with currently testing various((Glary currently) softwares to locally encrypt anything I'm actively using on my external SSD or NVMe or else storing any files I don't currently need or use to my encrypted online storage
