Hey everyone, how many places have you "lived" during your life so far?

Post a Number (#).

Let's make up the guideline for "lived":

I will use a basic one I came across during my life.

Lived in one place for 3 months or longer?

Meaning an address, not town, city, state, country, or anything else. Some people have lived in many places but still in the same town, city, state..., include them all in your #.

For example: if you live in 5 places but in the same town, then your number is 5.

With everyone living in different parts of the world, it will probably be easiest to keep this to "places"? But you all do it however you want.

I will add to my post more details because I hope others will as well and I am curious. Things like the # of States, and the # of countries.

Now, everyone please give me some time to post back here with my # because I am backreading, I have other things I have to do, and I will have to put my old, old, really old brain to work trying to remember my #!

I will repost when I have my #. ❤️

Damn, you have moved around a lot. I have lived only in two houses and they're only 8 km apart.

At one point I looked for bigger place, but abandoned plan because of rent increase it would cause, amount of stuff I'd have to move (I'm hardcore collector) and increased number of neighbours (I'm now living in terraced house with only two, somewhat quiet neighbours).

My number is 68.

28 States
2 Countries

Thank you everyone for replying to my thread. I wasn’t sure if anyone had any interest in this subject or not.

I was just curious because of my history and I am having a hard time figuring out where I want to live now. I have always followed work, going where I had to. Now I can live anywhere in the world I want. I just don’t know where I want to live. Even though I have lived so many places, I have not traveled the world. I have only been here in the US and in Canada.

Thanks! Yeah, I was about to just do a post in a "different thread" and realized I should do it this way instead, for let's say,
"certain reasons". ❤️ I'm glad to see you and some others found it! ❤️

~15ish different addresses across 5 states in 50 years. Though at 2 different points several years apart I returned to my childhood home after college for a few months each time. And I might have forgotten an apartment that I only lived in for a year, I did a bunch of 1 year leases in a row. (It sucked moving every year, I do not recommend.)

I must have moved at least 15 times in my life and lived at probably double that amount of residences. Just moving around with relatives. I’ve only ever lived in 3 states and one other country before though, most of my moving was within states.

5 different places, all in the same country. Had an opportunity to live abroad a few years back that I didn't take, regret it a little looking back at it. But there's still plenty of time for me to travel and expand my horizons.
