How does a pay wall stop games from being reported.

Because for a normal person buying something they view as illegal is less likely For them to get then if its just free

tbh i dont think it will at all. all it takes is one person to pay 16 bucks and its basically impossible to identify them.

A pay wall will stop all but the most determined SJB bitch

This is an experiment, you'll know if it works if lewdcorner still exists by the end of the year

I dont think it does. I think the whole point in doing this is to make it harder for whoever was just coming onto the site to look at those games just to report the site over the games. think it has been done this way with the thinking of. The people who report it are too lazy to stay here grinding just to get the coins needed to access the members+ area just so they can then see whats new to report.

It doesn't. This site will fall eventually, as every others in the "open" web. And we will be forced to start the chase again...

Its the locked car theory. A person who is planning to break into a car will walk into a parking lot filled with cars. They will try each door to see what ones are unlocked. If they find an unlocked car, then they will ransack it while leaving the bulk of the rest of the cars alone unless they see visible valuables in the car.

Humans follow the path of least resistance. If there is a process to get access to something, then that will often deter most people.

Same question asked over 100 times now, and the simple answer is it wont. What it does do is force those fools who report games to grind for a
few weeks. So in essence it's just a deterrent to slow down reporting. Even buying coins can be tracked, so finding them is easier now as well.

Also it's a way to help fund the site without asking for donations like in the past.

Much fund

If it keeps them the site going I couldn't care less

Not really a paywall - you can earn coins other ways. Of course the cunts probably aren't going to bother posting that much, let alone donating. Though there are bluenoses who might try. The only real way to prevent them from getting in would prevent everyone else, too. Look how much complaining by those not intending to report there is with this? It's a balance between keeping them out without making the games+, etc impossible for anyone to access. Nobody, including the owner, admins and mods like it, but if you have a better idea, let them know...

The existing defense is very weak. If someone really needs it, he can easily overcome the existing barrier. As an option - transition to membership by invitation, as it was done once on some torrent trackers.
Although the commenter who wrote above is right that the future will show. If by January 1, 2025 this site will still exist - then the protection works.

Problem with that is finding the people. Plenty of people would never be here had they not heard of it in a message on Fuck95 (in a way that defeats their censorship of the site name.)

Its the fairest option i can see that gets the job done, keeps the good stuff behind a wall and still gives the option to be able to play for free(with a little bit of effort).

It sorts out a lot of potential troublemakers, and the rest ... well, haters gonna hate anyway.

Some reporters might be someone who heard about this site, checked it out, then noped

Even a dedicated reporter might not dig enough to realize that games+ is something worth digging into

Reports do not necessarily get automatically acted on. A dedicated reporter might go through the effort/cost, but will the server?

The REALLY good images are behind a superwall that takes either a shit ton of posts, a lot of $ (I'm guessing hundreds) or a combination thereof. More than halfway there without a sale and as the coins grow in the bank, they gain faster. The fucking prudes and idiots who can't tell pixels from reporting are all a bunch of cunts, and they are the reason for all this.
