Moral Personality Test

Hypothetical: Everyday a newspaper
(for the young, this was like a newsfeed that showed up on your doorstep telling you what was going on in the world before the internet) arrives in your mailbox but it tells tomorrows news. All the normal stuff like crime stories, media news, financial news etc. Everything it reports will 100% come to pass unless you directly intervene or influence significantly (no butterfly effect BS).

How do you use this information? Do you become a hero and save the busload of kids from driving off a bridge? Do you win all the lotteries or otherwise manipulate to get filthy rich? Do you go vigilante and use it to punish people you feel deserve it?

So basically; good, bad, greedy, or a little bit of everything?

Mostly hero, but definitely get rich and get revenge on assholes. Of course being rich you could do that after for some...

I remember watching a series with this theme.

I think I'll look around.

And I just wouldn't risk my skin personally.

For this purpose there is an anonymous report.

Win the lotteries, amass wealth, then make an impact.
That bus driving off a cliff is sad, but also not really in my power to affect... How do I convince the driver not to go? Am I just causing a nusiance at a school? Etc. But winning the lottery? Investing? etc? Big, life changing differences there.

gotta use your imagination. A good guy might speed past a cop and drive to the location, or a bad guy might take advantage of a "Massive drug stash found in abandoned building" and get really stoned. depends on what motivates you I suppose

that's kinda the point "burden of the hero" do you accept the personal sacrifice to do a good thing or just say f-it let fate take its victims

A little of both, netori falls within my permitted "evil", but there are times when the villainous protagonists get too rough with their girls for my taste.

Heros always die in the end.
I'll be the villain

Villain I guess. I mean no harm to anyone, but I would mainly use that for personal gain, trying to not make other people's life worse in the process. I would only try to make the world a better place as long as it doesn't mean going out of my way to do so.

Fun concept for a game. Would definitely be a multi play through game. First playthrough would be a greedy hero.

feel like that would be the case for most people. at least for a while. "Power corrupts" as they say

After gaining comfortable wealth, I'd need to think of non disruptive creative ways to save the school bus full of kids- like staging a boulder to block the road, therefore diverting the bus to another cliff less route.

Nobody asked, but the name of the series was Early Edition.

Same. I'd prolly try to be a stealth hero, god knows the instant anyone found out what you could do your life would be over.
