Have you ever come across any extremely weird people/ places? Lets tell some stories. You are now entering the TWILIGHT ZONE.

I am a amateur photographer, and love nature photos. One time I was out and off trail just middle of no where. All the sudden I stumble upon a lean-to that could have been made by Bayer Grills, or something it was still green branches so it was newish. . I took a few photos but then started feeling like I was being watched. I started picturing a Ghille suited sniper taking aim on me. Here are a few photos of it.

But then a month or so later I am out again but like 100+ miles in a different direction and I come across the same kind of thing , but this one is made out of Huge rocks so its kind of permanent and it has a fenced in front yard but it is only like 2 feet tall. Again I had been hiking on the trail for an hour then 2 hours off trail. Just some weird shit.

Ill tell you about the flock of vultures that followed me around for over a week after I go make dinner.

I once walked downstairs in a club and was presented with the sight of BDSM clowns, no, I don't mean clown as an insult. I mean actual damned clowns. I've also seen shadow people, and various other unexplainable things. But...clowns man.

I was thinking the same thing But the second one was 2 hours of off trail hiking. I wouldn't have seen it if it wasn't for a small creek close by. I was hot and wanted to cool off. I mean the odds of it are just.... and I have never been able to find it again.
But anyways lets move on. OK so I owned an Enduro motorcycle, they look like the off road racing bikes but are street legal. I got it to go up and down a mountain 98 miles one way 2 or 3 times a week cheap. It worked great but was very light so one night im going home and a huge haboob storm is coming from the SE. I get of and head to the Salt river near Saguaro lake. I hunker down get in the sleeping bag and doze off. When I wake up the tree whose roots I had used as a pillow is now home to 5 vultures all just looking down on me.

So I saw them 2 or 3 times on my home about 70 miles north from where these photos were taken. Thats all pretty cool but not very starnge but a day and a half later I am at my cousins house like 60 miles south of where the photo was taken and .....


He almost hit me I was there for less then a min and hes flying at head level over the yard. A min later one lands with a rabbit or something and they tear it apart in the street while looking at me. I was a bit freaked out.

Once I was at the movies with a friend, it was the last showing so when it ended it was like 2am. We were waiting for our cab and it was completely deserted except for this one other guy. I don't know how to describe him other than sketchy, it was something about the way he moved. So he comes up to us and starts chatting, we don't want to snub him because of the whole sketchy as fuck thing and we didn't want to get stabbed in an abandoned parking lot. Minor small talk was exchanged like the fact that I was in college and that he had just moved to the city, after getting out of jail, for attempted murder. He was a nice man and offered to help me get a job running drugs in order to pay for college, I politely declined and luckily our cab showed up not long after and we got the fuck up out of there.

My wife and my self and our 1 year old were in the car going south on a straight road that at the time was all Indian reservation land on the east side so basically cotton fields. My son started crying like something was hurting him and my wife has Cerebral Palsy and couldn't use her left hand so I pulled over to see what was wrong. It felt like there was a pressure in the air like a hum you could only feel not hear. We had seen the lights in the distance but then all the sudden it was going right over us. A lot of the people that saw it said it was a V shape but it was a triangle but it was so low it couldn't have been more than 200 ft in the air.
But it was so big it was over more then a city block at the same time. It made zero noise but your body felt the hum as if a bass was pounding inside of you. My son stopped crying as soon as it was gone and my wife and I just kept asking each other if we had really just seen that.

i have an honest question though, as someone with zero experience hiking or camping.
so if you came across a makeshift shelter like this, should you use it or not?

It would depend on the situation in a life or death situation use anything that will help you always. even if it was a full log cabin you can break in to get warm or whatever. If you just wanted to check it out ...well You see how I didnt get any close up photos even though the fire pit was cold some branches were still green so they might have been coming back. So I didn't touch anything.

I wasn't asked but, as said, it depends. If you're in dangerous weather you gotta do what you gotta do. But be aware if it's a fresh place the person who built it may be coming back, and that is where things can go fine or not so fine. Even crazy people do normal human activities, so you might run across a nutjob hunter.

Yeah, I don't mind. I've witnessed several "shadow people". You know, the quick darting solid black mass types. I've seen UFOs a few times (please understand UFO doesn't always mean aliens), and I've heard more weird noises than I dare to try to count. I've seen a lot of stuff. Believe me, I'll take all of that over BDSM clowns

I'd be willing to bet military training. Most people aren't gonna hike for two hours and build another more complicated setup unless they truly are lost in the wilderness. Also, turkey vultures it looks like. It's pretty common to run into the same group and they are very used to humans. Think of them as raccoons with wings.

Oh yes, the original "Me Too". I've dealt with those types myself. I got good at shutting them down because they'd always slip up in details.

I assumed military as well I think its more odd that I randomly came across 2 such places. As for the Vultures again just odd that they seemed to be following me almost 200 miles apart. I think they do a lot more good then raccoons though. And in flight they look more graceful the a bald eagle. I was in my Kayak when I saw these 2 doing the mating dance. They eventually laid an egg or 2 and it became illegal to get near the nest. I am not sure if they were fishing or they kept just falling in to the lake during the mating dance but it was hilarious.

Another strange place is a shop in the town I live close to. It is only open on Sat for 4 hours and on Sun for 2 hours. That is it, it is locked up with huge dogs roaming the fenced in parking lot the rest of the week. There is a howitzer gun in the parking lot also. It gets stranger as you go in though. the photos are shitty because no camera allowed so had to be sneaky.
