Funnily enough I wasn't trying to poke fun at typical AVN writing, I just didn't want a boring thread title while asking for recs. And yeah it's clear that a lot of AVNs are either translations or written in English by someone who doesn't have it as their native language, not something I'd make fun of as being multilingual is commendable in and of itself.Let's be fair a lot of the games are translations so you get weird translations a lot of times. The English native games tend to have a few errors here or there, but they are at least a semblance of what somebody might actually say most of the time. The best writing probably comes from games that aren't trying to be humorous and are more vanilla because you don't have to try to make outlandish scenarios as to why somebody's mother suddenly wants to pursue a relationship with their child after 20+ years of 0 interest set up in the back story.
So, it wasn't just me that gave myself a migraine trying to make my brain accept the the words in the order they were written? I swear I spent 3 minutes looking at them, and had to resort to saying them out loud. Still almost had a stroke.Reading this makes me feel like I've had a stroke, please fix the text.
I can almost read that. Was this a result of a translator? If so, which one? I would like to know so I can be sure I never use it when traveling or writing important emails. You will never really be far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like...

Best is subjective and I may like a game that everyone else here deems a waste of 1s and 0s.
"Best" writing/story AVN... here's a few of my favorite AVNs with a rough category tossed at them.
"Eternum" and "Ripples" for Sci-fi,
"Crimson High" for Fantasy/Monster Girl
"Our Island" for Incest/Harem
"Neko Paradise" for Artwork/Cat Girls (also one the only "sandbox" type games that I have really enjoyed)
