I really doubt this ever gets finished, which is a shame. It has great renders and some of the most natural sibling dynamics I've seen in a game.

I don't have a problem with this update taking 9 months.

I don't have a problem with the dev making a render for every miniscule action. If that's their style, go for it.

I do have a problem with calling this an "Episode". It took about 15 minutes to get through and clearly only covered about a quarter of the events it needed to.

I agree with the other posts that the renders are outstanding and the family dynamic is well written, but it would be nice if the updates actually updated the game. The update was a door opened and a guy with a beer hat walks in and that's it? Or did the episode 2 just not start for me?

Game previews look good, I was reading the developers notes and it said that episode 2 and 3 would be released this year... 2024 is almost up. I'd love to play this game but if it's just 15 minutes it won't be worth downloading.
