Depends on the LI. But normally, I'd prefer clean shave or simple cut.

personally, i found the older i get - more hair i like

Usually, I preffer LIs pre-pubes. So smooth. If it is teen or adult, shaved clean. But if they are of age of the first pubes (the cute soft hebe pubes), i like them and makes it "age coherent" in the story

Completely smooth for sure, like if its a small and well trimmed bush I won't be grossed out but a forest is a big no thanks. Goes for males to to be honest.
