Story, not game. Otherwise a movie, TV show, etc would be a game. Games by definition have things you do that affect the story.Kinetic Novels are also text based games. They use numbers and codes just like any other game, and you can save, load, and enter your name. This isn't comparable to something like an E-book, where you just transfer text into digital format and turn the page. It's programmed so that every time you click, the story and characters continue. Everything that goes into a Kinetic Novel is exactly what you need to create a game. You don't always need multiple paths or explicit interactions to automatically call something a game. Let's just agree that it's a story game, and that's fine. Nothing more, nothing less.
