Random pet peeve of mine when it comes to adult games is when I'm looking for lesbian female protagonist, 9 out of 10 times it is mostly a game where the female protagonist is having sex with men, and there may be a handful of scenes of girl on girl, usually in a threesome with a guy. Now, I don't mind that, but when I'm in the mood for just gal on gal, and only gal on gal, it requires me to wade through page after page of gals getting railed by guys.

Anyone else have pet peeves regarding adult games.

NTR, rushed shoddy endings with no harem pregnancy, in harem games that led me to believe otherwise.

Rushed relationships with no build-up whatsoever. It's fine if it's one person or maybe two, but when everyone flirts with the MC that's meh.

Not being able to choose the end of a h scene if you get what I mean. More player choices the better.

In Ren'py engine. When devs do looping animations on a timer without being able to click to advance the scene. Worse is the devs that use the click to advance system in Ren'py to make ghetto animations in the engine, like 3-4 images that alternate.... you're sitting there clicking through waiting to read more, them boom you missed it and have to back track because the dev though that having the player click 80 times without anything new happening is a good design.

Exactly! That's not avoiding anything. Might as well just watch the scene and get something out of it.

When the game has to many girls. Gooning made me realize you can have too much of a good thing. Some examples are WVM and My New Family

Annoying mini games put into a game when you don't want it there.

Lack of conflict or consequences (looking at you 99% of harem games),
Edgy character models in vanilla stories,
Trigger warnings (I mean WTF man, it's a porn game),
and finally - asking too many questions, especially over and over and over instead of setting variables the first time you ask or during set up.

Games that are KNs with a few choices thrown in to avoid being called a KN. Doubly so if the choice only affects which of two scenes you see. Triply so if the scenes come significantly after the choice in question.

Players that insist that they will not play KNs, but that the above fig-leaf is enough to make it a 'real game'

Definitely just rushed build ups and sandbox games that aren't really sandbox at all.
