Has the developer of VN some benefits from publishing their game here?

If its a restricted type game with more taboo tags it more like to stay up rather using Fuck95 or dikgames

Uh...just to clarify this isn't a publishing site. Specifically speaking this is a pirate distribution site where games are shared.

Cons to this is it can cut into revenue if the game is actually published and distributed on platforms like Steam or Patreon.

Pros to this is you have a large pool of 'free testers' who will provide feedback and report issues they experienced with their game. The free exposure will also direct people to support your future efforts on Subscribestar, Patreon, or other platforms like it as you can build a community for your development efforts.

For the most part this is mostly benign if you're doing development for the sake of development and the feedback will help build up your skills. If you're doing the development as a side hussle or an actual job it's a thin line between when piracy of your games will take away from subscribers or purchases. Also community development is tricky and you will get flooded with hate just as much as praise.

Word of mouth is always good for a game
