I'm very glad to see futa and trans split into two tags, but you got the definitions a bit wrong, imho. The render style shouldn't have anything to do with it. Instead, it is about the realism of the character/the situation. Basically, trans covers the real-life situation of people being assigned a different gender at birth than they actually have; while futa covers a variety of fantasy reasons leading to a woman with a penis.

For example, my game actually has both: Some women have the magical ability to grow a temporary cock, and some women are born as a boy.

Given that context is important, I hope that you will listen to what dev's have to say on this topic about their own games.

Good point, and even sometimes those two tags don't fully cover the full range of the fetish.

You can have futanari (women born with or growing penises), transgender folk (transitioned), femboys (still guys but very feminine), traps (though this is a bit more of insult now it seems... I assume its fine in the context of porn. guys mistaken for girls... aligns with femboys), sissies (firewall between male and female persona... often leads to femboy or transgender).... Generally if I'm looking for femboys, I either need to look at transgender or sissification tags. Personally, I'd want to split off feminization and sissification. Too often the latter is tied up to ABDL, which I am not a fan of.

Apologies if its a bit pendantic... but need to contribute sufficient without going low-effort. Meaning I need to add some substance to what I say.

reason why i put realistic and daz is due to the nature of games.
DAZ: they arent real, as in not real people engaging in sex acts.
Realisitic: i can probably shorten to just real (for the games that feature real porn) however it was meant to cover AI and realism games
I wouldnt see a problem adding both to your game if it does indeed feature both

As someone else mentioned, I was under the impression that a Futa has both a vagina and a penis. While trans would have penis and balls. I do think more specific tags are good, makes it easier to find what you're looking for.

I like the split in the tags, gives a better idea of what to expect going into the game. Still sadly won't solve anything with people who insist that trans women = gay because penis, but there's really no changing boomer mindsets anyway, so shrug I guess.

Real vs artistic really shouldn't matter. A futa is a proper hermaphrodite with both reproductive organs. Someone who is trans goes through the process of changing from one sex to another. Trans would cover tf games as well as games like WVM where the characters are trans. Futa would only cover games with characters that have both a penis and a vagina.

By whom do they get assigned a different gender? The nurse? Don't they double check in the hospital? I know the vagina and penis of a two pound human has to be very small, but I am sure the nurses and HCP have seen plenty of them to accurately assign a gender. In the RARE cases a Hermaphrodite is born.
The doctors ask the parents what sex to put on the birth certificate

That I get, that there are some cases of having both or very deformed sex parts. Of course that must suck and they have my sympathies. In this case it must be hard for a HCP to put you into a category.

But by denying reality they just will hurt themselves. Coping with what you are and what you are not, is just part of becoming an adult.

I seriously thought I was on some heavy medication.... I want WTF you are taking if you believe they assign trans gender at birth..... You are born male or female and as such thats what your birth certificate says unless you legal change it at adulthood.. No not really. Its quite easy
There are 3 distinct and ACTUAL genders in health care thats used at birth with true Hermaphrodites

Male - obviously
Female - obviously
Intersex - can be assigned but its RARE they choose this option, again, male or female is chosen by parent
And yes, you are correct with the coping part
In some adults its hard to accept or to even feel like you fit your gender that are born in. Its hard on some people mentally, and physically.
Hense why its become the choice of many to either undergo surgery, or hormone therapy. Sure the hormone doesnt remove the problem appendage or lack of.. but it helps mentally aid certain people.

In my book. i dont care who you are. i care that you are happy with yourself, and are a good person
