Just seeing if there's any good ones I've skipped over or forgotten about. I heavily prefer incest as a main theme (can usually only get off to incest but there are exceptions), but happy to take other recommendations since I've probably played all the good incest ones at this point. Maybe I'll compile a list and do a tier list if there's enough recommendations lol.
Also bonus points for noncon and pregnancy content.

Having a Hard Time: Current favorite along with Eruption Imminent.

Heal Slut: Pretty decent. Not a big fan of it but it does have a lot of content and good writing. You have an optional futa protagonist (option is about 1/3rd into the game), and 2 futa side characters. The game definitely requires a guide which I'm not a big fan of, it's incredibly easy to softlock yourself out of a character's route without knowing it until much later in the playthrough.

The Red Room: Fun concept and decent content for what you do get. But it didn't get far with very few scenes and is currently abandoned. One of the more disappointing abandoned projects because it looked very promising.

Though not incest (Haven't seen many futa on F games like that), the three main ones that stick out in recent memory to me are Instinct unleashed, Unveilling the unknown and Futa Concontion. On the FemMC futa LI side, the only one recently i've had fun with is Holdcraft Chronicles Aki.

Yeah I can look past something being RPGM if the game is good. And sometimes there are amazing games made on RPGM that you can't even tell its an RPGM game, which is ofc the best case scenario (though this is extremely rare for AVN games, mostly just something you'll see with "normal" games lol). Eruption Imminent is potentially top tier for incest games in general. Can not wait to see where it is going, really hope it doesn't get abandoned. Not my favorite of the futaMC incest games (forgot the name of my favorite one it's been so long since it got updated lol), but it is the only one that's really getting updates. Definitely going to try those other 2.

And yeah I don't get the thought process, unless they just simply want experience on the engine. But most of the time RPGM games just feel copypasted and the devs would have been much better off just using ren'py (which you can still add mini-games to if you really want lol). Unity makes much more sense to work with if you want to make more of a game-y game. See a lot more success from that (though some devs really need to work on optimization lol) than RPGM, or at least it wouldn't just be a straight upgrade getting ported to ren'py instead.

Easily the perfect starting point for people wanting to get into indie game development, which is why it is so popular. RPGM is also a good starting point, I just think a lot of people using it aren't actually that interested in more serious game development and are kind of just using it because they're expected to, already have experience on it, or they just refuse to use ren'py. There are ofc plenty of exceptions to that, it's just a common trend in AVN games.

Yeah, Unity is far better for learning actual programming, it's just intimidating if you're starting from scratch. But there is a lot of weird things devs do. Like adding a sandbox to a Renpy game, only to have said sandbox be completely linear and just going from point A to point B

There is a game that is close to its first release called Project Caffeine, has a development thread on fuck95. I think this one is worth looking out for.

I'll recommend Futagenesis Unveiled, it has a Futa MC and there are puzzles in the game (you can skip them with story mode), it is on the borderline of being abandoned possibly though. The Dev had a break due to personal reasons last year and indicated they were back to working on it at the beginning of this year but there hasn't been anything more at this point at least. The renders are quite nice and the animations are good as well from what I remember.
