I see that there is still alot using android to play games no harm there but if your doing that do too budget/cost of gaming pc thought i post about the arc a310

Its cheap with a low profile version can be tossed in one of those old school/office prebuilts you can get well under $200 perfect for the games on this site.

Oh the card also does not need any power from the power supply it just needs the 45 from the pcie plug itself.

Not a bad suggestion, but it's for a very specific group of people, as @hucowfarmerken suggested. A recent, used laptop would probably be more convenient to someone who only plays on Android. Modern integrated graphics cards are more than enough to run the games you find here and then some.

If you go amd yes but intel laptops are power hungry monsters.

But even though igpus have gotten alot stronger you then get into temp/shared ram issues along with issues multitasking i just prefer the game on a gpu my windows dealing with the cpu.

Even drives i always have more than one in all my rigs so windows/linux has its own drive so i am not splitting the drive activity just my pet peeve.

Anything 8th gen or newer is going to do it on the intel side, I use an i7-8565U right now and you can get laptops with that in it for 150-200 these days

Looking at India, mobile gaming is very interesting. I've seen COD Mobile esports tournaments, truly shows how different gaming is in some places. Regardless, my next phone is going to be a gaming phone lol

Well they do have android tablets for work space i have the old shield tablet but that was years ago when they were thinking of gaming tablets i know gaming phones are still a thing.

Well over in china/korea even japan in a way its like a cult remember those stories were people live at internet cafes or spend thousands upon thousands on mobile games like its nothing.

There is a reason microsft spent so much on activison and it was not for consoles.

I have old laptops with intels in them but the new amd chips well last 3 years to now are way better for battery life and heat. The prices like you said are dropping quick good point today amd tossed out details of there next line so more price drops.

Yeah back when I only had toaster laptops I never had any problem running 99% of the adult games I threw at it, and its not like Renpy VNs have exploded in complexity since.

Can not use any upscale tech except maybe fsr was tossed out in 2017 and you need a new power supply if yours does not have 8 pin available.

Yeah those silly 2024 arc cards being $30 +psu cost cheaper so silly
