Hello LC community! I'm going to be dipping into the content creation pool pretty soon. I wanted to get some feedback from you guys. Now I already have two stories basically finished as far as the outline, plot and ending, but I'm on the fence as to which I should begin developing. To help solve this conundrum, please reply with your preferences and which you'd rather play.

First game - Post apocalyptic (think Walking Dead or The Last of Us.)
MC and his (2) daughters trying to get to the last free city. Lots of drama, violence and eventually dad will be grandpa.

Second game - Medieval fantasy. MC is a young noble who's father was caught committing treason. Now with his mother and sisters, you'll need to uncover the truth about what actually happened, and the secret the king is hiding from his people.

Like I said, I have the outlines for both done, as well as the ending, but I'm more than willing to get feedback for the selected game and add specific kinks if they are popularly requested.

Thanks in advance, everyone.

Post apocalyptic setting is more interesting but medieval premise is also interesting.

Which one do you have more enthusiasm/inspiration for? Just working for others is tiring, so choose the one you think would keep you the most engaged.
The medieval one seems to be more straightforward and possible a easier choice for a beginner dev.

I think a post-apocalyptic story would be more interesting to do, especially considering how few stories we have.

It's okay that the context of the medieval characters is very interesting, but fantasy is the most famous genre in VNs (apart from Slice of Life) lol. So this post-apocalyptic like TWD would be a very welcome novelty.

ps: I hope the comment is understandable lol, I'm not very fluent in English

Alright, so after some deliberation I have decided to go ahead with the post-apoc story. It is the one that most excites me and seeing that you guys mostly feel the same way leads me to think its the best choice.

Will you be featuring the girls in the Spicy thread? Need more of them.

It's a tough question because I personally find that asking others or making a poll can leave a story directionless, doubly so if the story and/or the kinks don't interest you.

That said, for me:
Fantasy > Superhero > Sci-Fi... so the medieval thing wins.

Kinks:
Incest > Pregnancy > Harem. All 3 can work together too.

But again, I'd suggest doing what speaks to you, even if it's only a little bit rather than relying on others.
If you do the latter, you might as well do a 9 to 5, imo...

Whatever you can get assets for :D

It's worth paying attention to minor details. In particular, neither in the post-apocalyptic world nor in the medieval setting can there be any talk of lace underwear for ladies. This would imply a developed textile industry, and with that, energy production capacity. This is just one example, but because of this little thing I cannot take all pseudo-medieval fantasies seriously. The second issue is sewerage and water supply. If a character is in all-metal armor, he can't take it off to take a quick dump. It's little things like this that make up the overall impression of a book, movie, or game.

To be fair, in a post apoc world there will still be literally millions and probably billions of pairs of lace panties already in the world.

I feel like both settings have been done a thousand times

I would agree post-apoc sounds more interesting, but as some have suggested, do what you have the most drive for. There are gonna be shit-posters, haters and doubters once you get started and if you're just doing it for the cash, that won't come right away either. You need to have passion to see it through.

definitly the apocalypse one with the dad/daughter incest

Smash both ideas together and see what shape the resultant mess take on.

Very post apocalyptic setting where mankind has roughly managed to get back to a technological level equivilant to medieval times. MC is a young noble who's father was a council member in the last free city but was caught committing treason. Now with his mother and sisters, you'll need to uncover the truth about what actually happened and the secret the king is hiding from his people. Then rescue his father who will try to re-integrate the fdamily in to the city and after lots of drama, and violence eventually dad will be grandpa.

Or do your thing, which is honestly going to be a lot less work than rewriting everything from scratch on the whim of some random dude on the internet.
