I watch a lot of anime and there are some tropes I am tired of.

1. Even the most over powered protagonists are terrified of girls and their bodies
2. Yelling or giving away their location before sneak attacks
3. Standing and watching an enemy mutate, or power up, or cast a long spell instead of attacking while they have the advantage

There are countless more, but I'd like to hear from other people. Also, let me know what you would rather see more of in anime.

I especially don't like the romance when they're supposed to get together and suddenly in the last few episodes they don't get together. One of the series would be Aquarion evol. Anyone who has seen the series before will understand what I mean.

After watching anime for over 35 years almost everything about the entire anime industry,

Nothing has or will change it has all become formulistic at this point.

i stopped watching when the whole episode consisted of the protagonist remeberying everything from the last episode and crying.. then you have like 5mins of new content and a lot of streched and clipped stuff from the last episodes. its just annoying as hell man, just make the short films and dont always try to do as less work as possible

"If you kill this horrible mass murdering completely evil villain, you will be just like him!" Though it's not just an anime thing, western comics and cartoons suffer from this too.

the high pitch anime voices, i appreciate their normal voices more, like urabe from mysterious girlfriend x.

I'd go with the "I never give up"/"willpower > power" protagonist thing, where they win fights just because the plot gives them infinite continues. It's like in some games where you respawn but the encounter you died in doesn't reset, of course you're gonna win through attrition.

Also this:

When the never kill the bad guy, and they suddenly become good and join the team

Tropes don't bother me, I just hate protagonists who make obvious shit decisions and characters like Hinata / Danderes as love interests, usually couldn't care less about them.

Redemption arcs and sympathetic villains are getting very old, yes. Promised Neverland pissed me off with season 2 because the horrible, evil, child murdering, child livestock woman "had a change of heart" and decided to suddenly help the kids she had raised as monster prime ribs.
