Developer of once in a lifetime i think is also good.
I never cared about devs, artists or studios, i'm a pure consumer, i only care about updates for my current games and new games that look playable.
Its also the same for music, i dont care who the band is in private or what they are currently doing, i only care about new songs.
That rule applies to everything i play, watch, hear or make.

I honestly don't pay attention to the developer. I just check if the game has a good reputation by reading some of the comments under the game. Not sure if following a dev is useful since its possible for them to have a good reputation through previous projects but lose interest with other projects. Like for example Striglet, absolutely loved The Visit, and I was really looking forward to Stars of salvation but alas, he lost all motivation and abandoned it.
