So a while back, I played this visual novel made in Ren'Py, and it felt like it just went on forever. It was one of those super long games, with a bunch of missions and choices that totally changed how things played out. The main character was a guy, and every time you thought you were close to finishing, another storyline or mission popped up and just kept dragging you deeper. I honestly don’t even know if they ever finished the game or if it’s still being developed. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Could you explain any details you remember? Setting, the types of characters, initial interactions with the MC and the others. Anything at all and someone here will probably be able to help you find what your are looking for.

There's no identifying information here at all. Do you remember anything about the game's story or tags?

It would help a lot if you could describe the setting of the game.
Was it Daz3D, Honey Select or Koikatsu style graphics?

Seems like you just described every VN what is the plot of the story?

There are a few Ren'Py games that are quite long or seem never-ending due to their branching paths or multiple routes. One that comes to mind is Long Live the Queen, which has a complex system of choices that can lead to different outcomes, making it feel like a never-ending challenge. Another possibility could be The Trickster, a long-running story with many chapters. If it’s a game with more adult content, there are a number of Ren'Py games that fit that description, too. Let me know if you remember more details!
