Do you think that AAA games should add explicit sex scenes?

Would be cool to see, but I think that means the game can't really be an AAA game anymore since investors likely wouldn't touch that. So the game will be smaller in scope as a result.

I'd rather have real big-budget AAA games to play and also find smaller explicit games when I'm in the mood, like how it currently is.

I am going with no. Maybe in certain games that are already more mature in nature, but I like to keep my regular games and porn games separate. They are for different times and different moods. Plus, my regular game collection is safe for inspection, if AAA games started including this I would probably have some physical and be more likely to have someone find out...

Unless it makes sense to the game, I generally would go with no. Though I agree with Temp that keeping regular games and porn separate is the way to go.

Some games already do, especially from European studios (see Witcher/Cyberpunk from CDPR and KCD from Warhorse Studios) as nudity and sex is way more acceptable there.

The scenes are pretty explicit for AAA standards but generally not truly explicit: you can see asses and tits, implied movement but no visible genitals or penetration and it's more akin to a cutscene. It doesn't feel out of place imho and more games should do similar things

I'd have to say no. Though I'd love to see some big budget explicit games... What motivates me to play AAA games is different than explicit games and I'd prefer to keep that separate, unless it's something that fits the game

No. You just shouldn't think that everyone is excited about games like those presented here or on F*95. A lot of people (or, more precisely, the majority) are either uninterested, indifferent, or disgusted by them. The audience of these games is limited, and serious manufacturers/developers will never allow for a possible outflow of the audience.
We just need to have the courage to admit that we are inhabitants of a kind of ghetto. This applies to LC, F*95, and all similar sites. It's a ghetto for a relatively small group of weirdos. Moreover, this group is also divided into factions. Someone is interested only in vanilla (as your humble servant), someone is interested only in Japanese games, someone is interested exclusively in content from the + section or some furries. So don't overestimate our own importance, gentlemen.

Personally, I find it completely unnecessary; in fact, I’m sometimes glad when such scenes are either heavily limited or absent from games where you might expect them. I understand that romance in games naturally involves this aspect, and without it, a relationship might feel superficial, but it is possible to handle it by delving into the psychological side of things instead (though that’s likely much harder to pull off). I just don’t know how I’m supposed to act during scenes like that. Am I supposed to applaud? Jerk off? Come on, there’s other content for that. That said, I keep an open mind and am willing to consider arguments from all sides.

No. Explicit sex scenes in AAA games would cause more problems than they’re worth.

Higher age ratings, platform restrictions, extra development cost, and unnecessary controversy - all for something most players don’t need. Better left to indie/niche titles.
