have you considered getting a good PS1 emulator and just playing those? I play the classics all the time it never gets old like the more recent ones seem to do.

PCSX does PS1 games right?

PCSX does PS1 games right?

Yes it's an emulator but you need the bios files to play the games.

After that you download the game in a rom file, load it up, and play the game.

Only problem is the controls are terrible unless you have a game-pad.

"style?" like, new games made to look like PS1? I see a bunch on Itch, but they dont interest me.

As for legit, PS1 games, Legacy of Kain is still an all-time great! Zelda style gameplay, but with an awesome vampire story. The whole series is some of, if not THE, best voice acting in any games.
