Idk i cant read text lines and skip them till some sort of scenes, but sometimes, there is not big number of games that can be interesting not just like jerk off material. Your opinion?

I'm having trouble following your sentence, and if I were in a VN with writing such as that, I wouldn't simply skip the dialogue, I'd delete the VN and find another.

But, generally speaking, since the "N" in VN stands for "novel", I honor the dev and read the story that has been written - hopefully well. If all I want to do is toss off, I'll find some other material, not a VN. The lewd scenes in a VN spice things up, but they won't generally get me off.

Rarely.
90% of the stories are bad.
Both safe and none safe for work.

A good story i do read.
But those are rare.

Nah, but in all honesty.

I usually fast forward till the first fuck scene to see if it strikes my fancy. That includes the smutty dialog during the exchange. If it is boring but with good renders, I give it another sex scene, if I am not hooked by then, I quick.

If I get hooked, I get invested in the story somewhat. It needs something very interesting to stand out.

I HATE exposition dump in the beginning, or having 20 minutes of fast forwarding mumbo jumbo bullshit between characters. I absolutely not read text messages within the games. No fucking way. What the fucking obsession with emulating smartphone messaging.

I mean, just fucking stay within the normal dialog box, but put a different colour on it or something. Or let the character hold a motherfucking phone if you really can't live without that iconography. But for the fucking love of God STOP PUTTING MOBILES PHONE MOCK UPS INTO THE GAME. Oh, I have a UI inside a UI, inside a UI. And I added tipping sounds to it.... maaaaaan am I smoooooooort and innovative! Oh boy oh boy, people use phones, right? They sure will love having a simulated smartphone in a fuck game....boy oh boy!

Yeah, I do. Unless it's super boring or totally broken engrish.

I do, AVNs without somewhat proper writing are boring to me, I don't like most real porn much either because of that, not much to find with a coherent story arc in there... xD
Even the greatest quality renders don't make up for shit writing for me *shrug* Like, I do use replay gallerys for the "quickwank", but that only works because I played the story and have the connections in my head.

So, yeh, story/writing important :D (Doesnt have to be some 5 star novel tho, clichee stories like the Brother coming home after 10 years and it evolving into him banging his family can be fine, as long as ther IS a story and it is coherent :D)

Absolutely I do. The story is what I'm there for. As far as I'm concerned in games, VNs as well as other text heavy games, I'm going to read what's given to me. The writers have gone to the trouble of writing it, the least you could do is read it. And if what I read turns out to be crap, I'll move on to something else.

Most of the time, if the dialog is to bad it might be a bit hasty :)

I play these type of games or read H Mangas because of the story and context. If not for it, wouldn't it be better to just watch regular porn?
Sometimes when the dialogues is dragging on and have gotten really dull and boring, I skip through it, but it's just on specific scenes.

I want to have slight attachment to the characters and the plot. There should be tensions in the story, instead of just wham and bam, then next npc

I always read the text, as a very big part of evaluating a particular game or VN for me is the the story. Pictures are for me a matter of the third plan. Priority:
1. Plot
2. Character development
3. Graphics.

It depends. I skip a lot if it's a lot of "blah blah blah."

I do appreciate games with sexual tension build up and release. The writing has to be engaging though.

Absolutely. Although I will say the game has about 5 min to grab my interest because I head off to try something else. There's too many renpy options to fuck around with a bad story, bad writing, goofy premise, etc.

Yes, if I wasn't here for the story I'd go scroll an imageboard or something. The narrative around the characters is what makes the sex scenes interesting.

I have to say, some games, yes I read it, not everything. But some games just talk too much. I guess it depends on the story, if it's a loving build up story, I would much faster read it, then just a fuck around game.
I still would love for games to have an option like game play or story play. Where the game play is quicker.
Or at least have the option to only read the most important text, for example when a game hasn't had an update in months (usual), then after 12 months or so, or even less, I got no fucking clue what the story is about, a quick intro, who is who, what happenend would then be interestig.
For example you have intertwined and similar games, it takes so long, that in the end I just watched the images of new updates, because I have no interest in reading everything anew. A quick intro like what happenend, would then be very nice...

Depends on the game. Some setups are so common that I just can't be bothered to read everything. For example I think I've already read all potential setups where a son with an absent/dead father comes home to his mother+sisters. I still play these games but tend to be very sloppy with the reading until it gets a bit sassyer.

The problem is also that this is now the age of clip thinking. For some people (fortunately, not all), large text becomes an insurmountable obstacle. One young man I know (19 years old) gave a masterpiece in one conversation: “It is not stylish to read books nowadays".
