Im curious do you believe in aliens or other paranormal beings? Since this is a forum with international membership i am curious for other peoples thoughts and experiences
If you do believe in them have you ever seen them or had experiences like watching a ufo or uap as there now known in my country. you will receive no judgment from me here.

I should have done more research on the paranormal part of this i thought paranormal just meant ghosts and cryptids like bigfoot and and spooky stuff like skin walkers that native american folk tales talk about but the wikipedia article for paranormal includes so much more stuff so i guess any paranormal would be included.

This is going to sound stupid but since i believe in aliens and you believe in aliens that means we believe were not alone in the universe. Then the most likely scenario is that other life forms out there will not always be exactly like our own human race, some will be more advanced some will be less advanced. Also they wont always look like our own. So in my mind then maybe some of the paranormal activities like ghosts and bigfoot and things of that nature may just be different life forms and i cant really say there dumb or not believe in it while also saying i believe in aliens and other forms of life i dont know if that makes any sense at all maybe im just dumb but thats my main thought wanted to see if other people had a sort of similar thought as me.

I believe in extraterrestrial life, space is so vast that there might be life somewhere else, but it might not be the alien race that is able to use flying saucers, and if they exist they are so far away that going to a direct trip to earth i believe that they won't come in peace, but to tear us into pieces. I do not believe in ghosts or any paranormal things.

No but i have an open mind there is something out there. I do however believe in the supernatural. Even if my analytical empirical science based mind says otherwise, i've seen and felt things in my life that make no sense, survived things that should have killed me.

I think they meant, alien life actually visiting Earth. Which I also don't believe.

Aliens being out there somewhere, sure. Would be really weird if there weren't.

And I don't think there's anything "paranormal". But of course, by definition we can never prove that.

No, I don't. As for paranormal phenomena, I am a materialist and atheist. As for extraterrestrials, until real scientific evidence of their existence is provided, for me this issue will remain a category of conspirology.

They aren't, but there is a lot of overlap between people who believe aliens actually have visited or continue to visit Earth, and those who believe in the paranormal.

As for other sentient life forms out there somewhere, yah, probably. Without knowing the exact chances of one evolving, or how long they usually survive before extinctifying themselves (the optimist would say at least some percentage of them stick around in some form) we couldn't say whether there are any others, right now, in this galaxy... But the galaxy is really fucking huge, and the universe is way fucking huger, so... probably? We'll just probably never meet any of them.

I'm on board with FuzzyFuzz.
There are far too many potential body types to even think that an alien/visitor would look even remotely close to us.
Those little green/grey men were easier for the public to relate to, and not be so afraid to watch the TV show they were in.
I'm not going into a conspiracy conversation with that opinion, I hope. A caveat to that last statement; I do believe they've already been here at some point.
Explain the platypus, for instance.

Life is out there. I'm sure in lots of places. I don't think any has visited us, but when they do visit I hope they aren't gigantic blood thirsty bugs.
