I've "Heard" stories of drama around ONI maker of Rogue like but I haven't experienced it and only heard one side. There are a couple of other ones where one guy makes and runs a patreon and then goes dark and IF there are other devs involved in the project (like the one I forgot the name of) they lose access to the patreon and it became a nightmare for the whole team. A similar thing happened to Palmer who was a really nice guy but he died young (Covid or Covid related I believe, everything at that time was blamed on Covid whether it was true or not) He was part of a team thankfully and his project was finished and 2 more sequels were/ are being made by them. If you want juicy gossip the Modding community for games like these has a ton of them since a lot of them have access to the developer and get involved enough to know the kind of things you are asking about.
