We definitely need a clear explanation of how the bank interest works now and how not to get boxed out of interest. I've lost out on at least one day of interest so far, and I would like to not lose out on anymore.

You're getting more interest than you were, the auto collect means that if you forget which most people have it doesn't keep getting pushed back later and later to collect. Before you still had to collect and then deposit if you wanted to deposit without pushing the collection time back. You're literally protesting a quality of life improvement, more interest and no downside compared to the previous system whatsoever.

We are protesting that the interest did not happened at the promised time so we had 0% interest today. It was said to happend at 12:00 midnight UTC-8 a while ago. No interest happened

Confirmation from another thread is that the 24 hour limit isn't what is stopping you from getting interest, or at least isn't the only thing. Nobody is getting interest right now and the system is borked. They still need to make sure the 24 hour limit is off but we don't know if it is on right now and it is not causing the current problem.

The fact that interest is straight up not working right now. Nobody is getting interest at the moment. Should that change we may shift the protest to the 24 hour limit if that stays but right now it is just the fact that the interest rate is in reality 0%

Here's a solution, remove it entirely and watch people lose their shit. Imagine actually having to interact to earn all your LC instead of biting the hand that gives you an option to earn a passive income to begin with. Honestly if I were the staff that's what I'd do to eliminate people complaining about it. First it was complaints about having to manually claim it or that it's not enough, now they increase it and go auto collection and they have this just because it's bugged and people don't have the patience to simply bring it to their attention and let them fix it before making complaints about it.
