Don't like it. Listening to a nice voice talking can be relaxing, but ASMR creators usually do some weird ''asmr'' things that just ruin the experience for me

As a dude with misophonia it's either a nice tickle on my ear or straight up noise torture. Like wet chewing and lip smack is pretty much like drilling my eardrum with diamond tip bit coated with sand paper

I find it enjoyable the two times I got to listen to it, but never had a desire to return for more. But even that surprised me. Didn't expect to find the it so sensual.

I certainly don't mind a hot girl whispering caring/naughty things in my ears. But the tingles or whatever? Maybe that magic trick just doesn't work on me.

But I don't mind a streamer who speaks in a low and calm voice, but I feel like that's different.

There's a trend I totally ignored those last year, but that seemed to grow a lot in popularity, and it's ASMR. I guess I lack imagination, or just need visuals, but girls talking sweetly into microphone or general videos about nature sounds have little to no interest for me. Not that I don't understand the appeal, just that I don't share it. Also sometimes it seems a bit low effort, or is it just me ?

I don't care one way or the other what people want to listen to, but I find it amusing when people deny that it's sexual. I once saw a video on youtube of two chicks literally licking and kissing one of those ear microphones, and when I left a comment asking how this was allowed on youtube, I was dogpiled by a bunch of people adamant that of course it was allowed because it was just for relaxation, bro.

It really depends on the asmr. Some are really nice, but aton can be very cringy.
