After a hard days at home, work, school, etc. What was your go to arcade game cabinet to decompress?

Mine always been the Star Wars Trilogy. Got so good at it, I would get my 4 quarters back after each play.

time crisis! pretty much any of them would be the first one I would go to

I'm old enough for this site, but not old enough to have played many arcade games lol
That said, I live near a community clubhouse that has a 2-player Galaga cabinet, and it was cool to bond with my dad over. He doesnt play any modern games, but apparently he loved Galaga!

Ohh I love arcade games especially Tekken king of fighters metal slug and street fighter.

I was a DDR sort of person, but i got a nice, metal pad to hook up to the PC before long, so that I could lurk even in regards to the arcade.

The mythic Metal Slug and Contra. Those were good times with my friends.

I used to love the Star Wars Arcade, and i loved Donkey Kong when i was a kid. Contra i played, Double Dragon, Street Fighter II.

Arcades weren't a thing here (in more ways than one) but personally, I like watching several fighting game series being played (Virtua Fighter, King of Fighters etc). Just this weekend was actually a large Street Fighter II tournament in Japan.

i remember playing tekken and mortal kombat

I'm older than dirt, and it didn't matter, I had to get good at all of them because dad would drag me to the bar when he didn't want to pay for a sitter. My era was the PAC-MAN, MS. PAC-MAN, Zaxxon, Star Wars & Pole Position in an actual arcade. Otherwise the bar had 2 games, a bowling game, and a juke box. That was it. And string cheese. Don't ask how may times I had a stick of string cheese for dinner.

The game I most played in my local arcade was Pump It Up.

most of arcade games I played is the one that gave tickets reward, seems rewarding even tho in the end it is still a gacha game
