Anyone play Clash of Clans or other mobile games?

I feel like this is a hilarious topic to talk about. I still play CoC, played from the beginning and it's been interesting watching the game change in all these years. I play a little bit of the other Supercell games but other than that I don't touch mobile games at all. I'm genuinely interested to see if there's any clashers out here

I used to grind the game until a few months ago. I don't like where the monetisation is headed with the new equipment and currencies

I don't play Clash of Clans, but I do play Summoners War on Mobile. I have been playing it since 2016.

Clash was fun up to the point where it forces the monetization on you. it's the same with lots of "free" mobile games

I played Dragon City quite a lot for a while. It was mostly for downtime when I had nothing better to do at work. Pay to win as hell, but can be pretty fun,

I play Honkai Star Rail but that game is more of a PC game that you can play on your phone. Still counts though.

I don't play too many games like that anymore. Once I'm forced to always be online or the game requires money to just get through a level, I go elsewhere. I don't mind QoL things for cash though.

Used to play Eversoul. I liked it for the most part, but hated how I felt like a slave to it. Quit early this year and honestly feel better about it.

Never understood the appeal of these types of games. A PvP in which the credit card is the strongest weapon.

The "Here's a fun game...now here's a grind to get to the fun part...now here's where you really should pay to get to the fun part" loop gets too blatantly obvious in most mobile games to be enjoyed
