True, However it reduces one major obstacle for developers (at least amateur ones) to learn how to model characters or find an artist. So they can more focus on the story line and the game/software. Hopefully it will lead to better games in the future!

oh, for sure it will used for that too! Surely in the near future we will be seeing AI assisted game development. LLMs that will just write the code if you tell them what you want. However that might be a little complex for now.

In 5 to 10 years, AICGs will be dominant. And in adult games too. You may or may not like it, but it is no use struggling against the advancement of technology. Remember the Luddites.

Didn't Daz announce an AI integration? Hopefully that will at least lead to AI images that don't look AI generated and could even speed up some of our favorite games. Daz could definitely use an AI assistant for some of the annoying work which would let people focus on things like proper lighting or stories

Not very strange at all. The constructs referred to as "AI" these days are basically pattern recognizers/generators, which is a good fit for graphics, audio and fictional text. Creative tasks generally also have a much higher tolerance for errors.

i guess so, besides creative outlets ai is being used to just straight up replace relationships in dating apps. Bumble CEO was adamant about using ai to pretty much to do the relationships for you. some dating sites have ai implementation already even if it is straight up bad.

As it stands, im very much not a fan and will almost certainly skip any games i see with that tag, but thats mostly due to them currently being wildly inconstant
