When I first saw AI images I thought it could be a great way for people who cant draw to create porn comics and games. A alternative to Daz or Koikatsu. It seems it hasnt gotten good enough yet. when do yall think it will get good enough?

Very soon. Im not against AI. Its a tool, to the people that dont give a shit its cool, to the people that do they would not use it anyways.

It wont remove the work of artists unless the artists were only being sought after for being cheap and quick, which the AI's do better.

The irrational dislike of AI generated imagery was really surprising to me at first. It's so reactionary.. Like, just because this is new? I see more people actively complain about Ai imagery than they do for really heinous stuff. There is some visceral reaction going on.

All that said, I think you're right. AI based porn would be a huge boon for reasons i mentioned in another thread, finding a good artist is really, really hard. Once the models get better and can run faster locally I think this trend will only continue to grow.

Yea, to me porn games have always been about the porn more than the game. Anything that can be used to get the art done quicker, I welcome. For video games, movies, or any higher art form, I would not enjoy seeing clearly AI generated images

I've seen some decent renders with AI. One of the problems is the low amount of effort that is being put into some of these games. There are some games with really nice AI pictures and horrible gameplay

any game you find with actually good art updates like twice a year. it takes the artist like 8 years just to finish the game. And the longer it takes the more likely it gets abandoned. if we are already fine with creators creating porn with koikatsu, then why not AI.

Right? And Koikatsu isn't terrible don't get me wrong. Getting good art out of an AI is really challenging. The best uses i've seen is taking normal 2d art or 3d renders and then modifying them with AI to add flair. That approach usually ends up looking pretty nice.

AI is a tool for sure, but it's also an artform in and of itself - Getting the robot to do what you have in your mind is quite challenging - and then having it remain in the same style, with the same character, in a consistant way, across multiple scenes, chaptesr etc, is very tricky as well.

AI games that just use 'randomly' put together pictures and call it a game.. that's just laziness - no better than some of the real porn games out there.. but people that actually USE AI in their own creative process - but still go through the effort of being realy selective, and re-editing where needed.. can use it to create some stunning looking artwork.

The quality of AI is already there - now it's just about consistency and application.

AI art does not bode well for the future of artists. It will literally take their jobs and only make companies that do not want to spend money on hiring people richer. Don't talk to me about the "isolated individuals that use it for their own use" because they definitely won't, even if they won't matter with their sphere of influence. They're bound to market what they create with it too.

If anything, A Moment Of Bliss shows perfectly well what AI will be like in years when it will be further improved.

I am definitely against using AI in a corporate sense. If you can afford to hire an artist, you definitely should. Someone like me though, I have no money and 0 artistic ability. If I wanted to create my own porn game I would probably use something like DAZ, which is basically messing around with a character creator. If AI could give me similar results to DAZ but quicker, I would 100% use it.
