Overview:
Life in Heartbrook Town has hit a brutal breaking point for our 18 year old protagonist. Abandoned by his mother years ago and recently left to fend for himself after his father was kicked out of their house, he is now staring down the barrel of a cold reality: an empty wallet and imminent eviction by his stepmother.
He’s spent his life being the "weak kid", mischievous, overlooked, and physically unimposing. But with the roof over his head at stake and his senior year of school weighing him down, he no longer has the luxury of being a boy.​

• Card Collection system: Start collecting your favorite characters in a fantasy anime style.

QoL Changes:

• Enabled skipping during animations: You are no longer restricted from skipping while animations are playing.
• Textbox transparency slider: A new slider has been added to the settings. The game now starts with 0% textbox transparency.
• Optimization: Converted game images from PNG to JPG. This significantly reduced the overall file size of the game without sacrificing visual quality, making downloads much faster for everyone.

Chapter 1 Changes:

• Economy rebalance: Reduced the money that was required for the escort and the amount found in the briefcase.
• Principal Thorne update: Thorne is now an optional character, her scene in Chapter 1 can be skipped, but doing so will bypass her character path.
• Content removal: The Olivia and Tyler scene has been removed as it no longer fits the direction of the game. Similar scenes will not be featured in future chapters.
• Naomi pool scene: This scene has been reworked to accommodate the removal of the Olivia scene.
• Changed the Vivian and Sebastian wedding photography

• Animations: 17 new animations.
• Characters: 11 new characters introduced.
• Cards: 4 new fantasy anime style cards.

A quick question for the Dev if they read this. What is the point of having quests if it is a kinetic novel? Having quests listed suggests some choices to be made or some puzzles to sort through to complete said quests. Is there anything of the sort coming up in further updates? Otherwise, having the quests listed just seems like a pointless feature.
