Overview:
Love Sucks, in which monster-kind has secretly integrated with humanity. Two monster girls, a vampire and a succubus have chosen you to be their date this Halloween! But their motives go beyond just showing you a good time... With the involvement of magical artifacts, monster police, big boobs and a sweet ass, can you survive long enough to save not only yourself, but the monsters too?
Or maybe you'll just let it happen over, and over, because, screw it, the succ is good and there's worse ways to go!
This is Love Sucks: Night One, the first part of three in your mission to get laid and not die doing it.

We've upgraded the game from 720p to 1440p. We originally built 720 for Newgrounds and for file size but now we're more focussed on Steam (our game is too big for Newgrounds now) we no longer have that limitation. 720p by todays standards is small, and really doesn't do Aila's art justice when made full screen on the most common screen resolutions. We knew that if we wanted the game to look its best, we would need to increase the resolution, and we couldn't do that for N3 without doing it for N1 and N2 as well, because they all use the same project file. While we had some doubts on if looks would improve with a larger size, we will tell you that really, really it has. Aila's artwork has sharp improvements and lets you see the smallest details she put in.
With this, nearly every animation in the game had to be converted as well, as well as a few new animations put in. There aren't any inclusions of new scenes, but while sorting through Aila's artwork, we found variations that have been there for years and she never told us about. So there are some new pictures and improvements. No major changes, but now the game looks much better on larger screens.
Doubling the resolution meant having to re-save all of the games assets from all our previous work, redo some math, and in some cases, remake some kitbashed assets. This was pretty tedious task, but was ultimately necessary and worth it for the game going forward. For today, that means that Love Sucks Night One and Two look better than ever. Enjoy!
Old saves should still work. If they do not please let us know asap on our Discord.

- Theo's eyes move around during the mirror scene!
- Some Naomi and Theo interaction pictures after the fight!
- Anna's hair piece is behind the picture as intended in D&D!

The update to Night One we've been working on for a while is here! If you want something spooky and sexy to play on your Halloween evening, here it is! The Night One updated includes a couple of bonus scenes, a little bit of lewd, and some expanded plot that introduces a character who will be recurring in future nights! Here's a full changelog:
1. Added two new scenes!
2. Added pictures to other ones
3. Added more music!
(Web version only) Disabled music. The stuttering audio bug was a problem with HTLM5 that we were unable to fix no matter how much we tried to make it behave. After several complaints, we decided it was better to turn it off than grind down your ears with awful sounds. For the best listening experience, play on Steam or download the game from Itch.io to run locally on your machine!
-Developed a crossfader so music begins and ends better
-Discovered oggs can be better
-Relooped music!
-Releveled music for optimal listening

6. Added a sound effect on the right channel so those of you who are crazy and don't love our voice actors should be able to sit in silence.

-Feed Sammy: We have a game were you can feed the cat. It's under Extras

-Lines: Everyone should have lines around them, letting them pop out consistently, monster and no monster
-Anna No Ears: When Anna takes off her ears, the ears stay off this time
-Anna placement: When Anna transforms she stays in the same spot
-The Fourway: The meetup in the library is more spaced out and should flow better
-The missing hand: Jan now flips the switch properly
-Assorted other fixes
