Games tend to look better in 2D when they're made by inexperience devs, since designs can be hand-drawn. 3D can easily look terrible with poor animation and lighting.
I hate the gacha systems but love the character designs and gameplay. I'm too lazy to use a crack of any of the hoyo games so I play them pretty rarely.
3D shaders are terrible in most anime-style games. Most of the ugliness in 3D games is from crappy shaders rather than texture or model quality. A model texture could literally be a flat color and it would look amazing with the right shaders.
There's a lot of garbage, especially with all the cookie cutter engines and AI stuff, but recent games especially from places like DLsite have been really good.
Unless the game has a good way of intertwining the scenes with gameplay, I would prefer to have the gallery from the beginning. If I ever end up uploading here I'm definitely adding my save files so others can skip the boring stuff.
AAA porn games won't happen anytime soon. Some studios will probably follow the lead of studios like CD Projekt Red, and we'll see more adult content in games in the future. No studio would ever go for a full porn game though because of the risk of publishers/card companies dropping it. Credit...
Most game devs use music and sound effects from royalty free libraries, so it's off-putting to hear foley_hit_07ogg being used for a sex scene when it very clearly sounds like someone smacking a table. Same with music, I've heard some RPGmaker songs too many damn times to count. Solo game devs...
Fewer is better, imo. I don't like it when a game is tagged with something I like and then it shows up for about 0.2 seconds after hours of tags I don't prefer. Should mostly be kept to stuff that's a core aspect of the game and not one-offs.
