I had this same black screen issue, and was able to bypass it by pressing F1 and selecting "Main Menu", apparently the intro video is somehow bugged. -

Anyone else actually a fan of the grinding games?
As long as the grind isn't too boring, for example Love & Sex: Second Base is super grindy but at least it's somewhat entertaining.- DonJoe
