Especially with the 'Happy Events' which sometimes have quite obscure trigger conditions, if a VN feels like you need to retrace your steps or do your homework outside... -

I love this game. Have to add my 2 cents to this in the hopes I convince even 1 person to try this out. I came for the fap material and stayed for the story and character development. Holy shit is it good. Developer notes are important here. If you want a quick whack, not the game for you...
