    Do Animations improve a game?

    I think Animations are always great. Even if it's amateur animation as long as the visuals of the stills are good its still enjoyable. When it comes down to it the story and flow have to be good. Animations wont save a terrible story or writing.

    When choices have no impact. Or when the choices spiderweb into a crazy story and there is no tool to help you make sure you can see all available content.

    First games were probably flash ones on newgrounds but visual novel wise mine was Once in a Life Time. AVN's are def my favorite format.
